The much anticipated arrival of the first Robex -9 from Hyundai has been a much needed catalyst for renewed activity in the excavator market. There were high expectations surrounding the machines that have been widely touted by the manufacturers as the most innovative and progressive excavator available worldwide and following the extensive field tests carried out by Eagle Equipment locally, the machines have not disappointed.

The Robex -9s have sparked interest from existing clients and even attracted the attention of those who have not previously owned Hyundai equipment, to the extent that the majority of the units that have arrived in New Zealand to date will be in service in the coming weeks.

Naturally the Robex -9 excavators will be on display at the Truck & Heavy Equipment Expo and for those who have not yet been able to view or test drive the machines, the exhibition will provide an a perfect opportunity to familiarise themselves with the equipment. The new Robex -9 machine key features include; the Tier III emission compliant engines, advanced hydraulic system, improvements to the operator environment, extended service intervals, remote management system.
