The ASV PT-100 forestry package, with a mulcher or rotary brush cutter, combines all the key ingredients for high-production, high-quality brush mulching, including a powerful rubber track loader, a productive mulching head, and a comprehensive guarding package that protects the entire system.

The PT-100 is the ideal platform for brush mulching. It’s powerful, manoeuvrable and built to work in rugged environments over long hours. It features ASV’s patented rubber track undercarriage technology to maximise traction and flotation for working in soft or difficult ground conditions where other machines won’t work at all.

The PT-100 uses its powerful 144lpm/3,300psi hydraulic system to produce 73 hydraulic horsepower. A load-sensing hydraulic system lets you run the mulcher and other attachments at maximum load without wasting power or creating excessive heat.

The new ASV HD7460B is a powerful drum-style mulcher attachment with 45 fixed-position double carbide tips that let you completely process a 1500mm wide path. It quickly processes trees up to 200mm in diameter and can plane stumps as large as 300mm diameter to ground level.

The HD7460B was designed specially for use on the PT-100 and is positioned close to the loader for optimum balance and excellent visibility. It features a new 110cc 2-speed drive system that uses a poly chain cog belt for efficient and reliable transfer of power to the drum.

The entire system is guarded by a package that includes a low-profile roof enclosure, limb-risers, hood protection, engine pre-cleaner screen kit, polycarbonate door and windows and complete belly-guard plates. Guarding plates are hinged to allow quick access for cleaning out debris and other routine machine maintenance. The package also includes a premium sound insulation kit with air conditioning and heater to reduce the entry of dust and debris into the operator station.
