Sites at the Mystery Creek Events Centre for The Transport and Heavy Equipment Expo, to be held 5-7 March, are increasing daily. The area confirmed for the 2009 event is already bigger than the previous show and with daily queries and site bookings THE Expo is on track.
Pre show registrations from those in the industry, wanting to attend THE Expo are climbing daily, with over 2300 people already set to receive an industry pass.
“These results are extremely pleasing, and judging by the large amount of interest from a wide variety of exhibitors’ we are in for a terrific show,” says Jaqui Cooper, managed events team leader.
“THE Expo will be a true one-stop-shop for those in the industry.”
Endorsed by the Motor Industry Association, the NZ Truck-Trailer Manufacturers’ Association and, the NZ Equipment Suppliers’ Association, THE Expo will bring all facets of the transport industry to one site.
To encourage ‘try before you buy’, THE Expo features a Power & Performance Zone featuring the Display area where exhibitors can demonstrate how their products and equipment work in a live environment, and the Trial area where customers can be hands-on with the machinery and equipment on display. A comprehensive demonstration programme is scheduled with Eagle Spares, CablePrice, AB Equipment Ltd and Doosan Construction already confirmed.

Regular show favourite Live Drive will return, where potential clients can experience first hand, driving a range of exhibitors trucks and vehicles. Live Drive participants include Mercedes Benz, Southpac Trucks, New Zealand Trucks & Clark Equipment.
The Training and Recruitment Village will showcase a range of service providers including driver training, staff consultancy, and is complimented by an extensive industry related Seminar Series.
